You will ensure effective and efficient business management systems and procedures are established and maintained, that all statutory reporting and compliance requirements are met, and that the financial needs of the Community members are addressed.
You will be responsible for the oversight of ongoing maintenance and repairs of all Community properties and will work with the Community's external service providers to assist in the management of property purchases, disposals and leases.
The role is a permanent, part-time position and would suit an experienced person looking for work-life balance and who enjoys working in a small team.

The Board of Blueline is seeking a seasoned professional with extensive leadership experience and a deep commitment to the purpose and mission of this social enterprise to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
About the Opportunity
The purpose of the role of CEO is to advance and implement contemporary employment models for disadvantaged persons and to provide oversight to the sustainable and efficient operation of the enterprise.
As CEO, you will be responsible for leading Blueline to meet its objectives and fulfil its mission while ensuring both compliance with legislative and regulatory obligations, and consistency with the expectations of the Archdiocese and the broader Church.
Reporting to the Board through the Board Chair, and working closely with the Blueline leadership team, you will deliver strategies that support structured growth through diversification and the contemporary use of technology. A key focus will be the provision of rewarding employment and training opportunities for people who have barriers to mainstream employment, while delivering quality commercial services that provide a competitive advantage for Blueline.
You will lead a diverse team, fostering strong relationships and networks with local and national stakeholders and partners, as well as maintaining and enhancing the reputation and public profile of Blueline.
Key to this role will be your commitment to the Blueline’s mission and values, and your ability to communicate and execute its long-term vision for that mission.
This opportunity is a full-time role and based in New Town, Hobart. The appointment is for a period of 5 years with the possibility of renewal. An attractive remuneration package, including a fully maintained motor vehicle, is being offered.
About You
This role will suit someone who has significant leadership experience in a service-based organisation, with demonstrated experience developing strategic plans and communicating an organisation’s mission and strategic direction.
Specifically, as the ideal candidate for this role, you will meet the following Key Requirements:
Extensive progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CEO or senior leadership role providing multi-functional services
Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Blueline and a commitment to and appreciation for the mission and ethos of the Catholic Church
Strong understanding of financial management, corporate governance and regulatory compliance
Proven commercial acumen, with a record of driving business growth and achieving financial results
Deep understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management within a complex operating environment
Knowledge of service delivery in the Social Welfare sector or Community Housing Provider experience is desirable
